How To Style Your Herringbone Vest.

Posted by

Rule No 1 : Don't be scared to rock a vest!

It's new, you don't have one, you've never worn one, will it look right on me?

Deep breaths.

Let's do this together. I had some of the same thoughts and then I stumbled upon these adorable herringbone vests and knew that I HAD to have them for the shop and if I HAD to have them for the shop, I'd have to get over my fear and learn how to wear one as well!

And I survived! And it's actually really fun and a great addition to my Mom-robe. (My Mom Wardrobe.)

The first and most popular way to wear our herringbone vest is with a solid top underneath. I chose our Mustard Cozy Top as an example, and also threw in some brown boots, a fringe scarf and completed the look with our Black Stone Choker.

Easy peasy.

Next, an edgier look where I combined it with our Navy Striped Tunic. To complete the look, I matched with my  favorite black Frye boots, our Olive Satchel Handbag  and Statement Necklace.

The final look I put together is the most daring but can be totally pulled off and ADORABLE, don't be afraid to try it! Pair our Herringbone Vest with a PATTERNED blouse, in this case I chose our Black & White Office Hours Blouse. LOVE IT! Since the patterns are a statement in themselves, I kept the accessories simple, just a pop of color with our Royal Blue Clutch. VOILA!

I hope the vest is a liiiitttle less intimidating after seeing the outfit inspiration and I hope you give it a shot! If you do, I'd love to see how you style it! Send a pic to to receive a special coupon code!
